DHC維他命C每粒中含有500mg的高濃度維他命C，相當於33顆檸檬的維他命C含量


維他命C皆屬於水溶性維他命，具有易溶於水、不耐熱的特性。雖然富含於許多食材中，但是卻會隨著洗、煮、熱炒等調理方式而流失或損失其營養成分。此外，即使大量攝取，也無法長時間存留於體內，無法有效利用的部分則會隨著尿液等一起排出體外。

想要充分有效利用水溶性維他命，重點是要能長時間存留於體內。

相較於一般型，持續型更可以在體內慢慢釋放，達到更好的吸收效果，避免短時間大量釋出而浪費掉。
